About the event
Important Note: This is a standing and mat class. We will be getting up and down off the floor. We will do poses lying on our back and on our belly and we may be kneeling for short periods of time.
Please speak to me before registering if you:
- are unable to get up and down off the floor due to ailments or age related issues,
- are currently doing Physical Therapy or Post Surgery of any kind
- cannot lay on your back or belly for long periods of time
- suffer back, neck, shoulder, knee or hip issues.
- have any heart conditions such as AFIB or low/high blood pressure. (sometimes laying down can be bothersome)
- wear Hearing Aids. The exercise room has odd acoustics and can be hard for those with hearing aids due to interference and noise in the device.

What to Bring: A towel you can roll up as a pillow or a small pillow, exercise mat and water. Mats are provided at the facility but I cannot guarantee availability or cleanliness based on residence usage.
Arrival Time: 10 minutes prior to get yourself settled. If it is your first time attending you will need to complete a Fitness Waiver upon arrival. Session starts promptly 11:30am. It is suggested not to eat a full meal prior to class. Allow at least 1 hour after your meal.
What to Wear: Workout or fitness attire. Comfortable, loose fitting clothes. Please do not wear jeans or pants that will limit movement. Sneakers or supportive rubber sole shoes are a must! No sandals or flip flops. Please DO NOT wear perfume or perfumed body products/cologne.
